Printing: A Novel Diagnostic Approach to Berry Syndrome

A 2‐year‐old boy initially misdiagnosed with dextro‐Transposition of the Great Arteries (d‐TGA) was accurately diagnosed with Berry syndrome—an extremely rare congenital heart defect—using multimodal imaging and 3D printing. Echocardiography and CTA revealed aortopulmonary window, anomalous origin of the right pulmonary artery, type A aortic arch interruption, and patent ductus arteriosus. A patient‐specific 3D‐printed model from CTA data significantly enhanced visualization of complex vascular anatomy. This case highlights the value of combining multimodal imaging and 3D printing for diagnosing Berry syndrome and improving surgical planning for complex congenital heart defects.
