This article discusses the introduction of the Arabic language in Transoxiana, its historical development, and the scientific schools of Arabic linguistics that emerged in the region. It also discusses the development of such areas as grammar, lexicography, rhetoric, and interpretation, as well as the invaluable contribution of such great scholars as Zamakhshari, Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, and AlBiruni to Arabic linguistics. At the same time, the place of the scientific heritage of Transoxiana in today's Arabic language education and linguistics is analyzed.
