Morning glory disk anomaly: A case report

Morning glory anomaly is a disorder characterized by a funnel-shaped optic nerve head. It is a primary mesenchymal abnormality. Most cases present in early childhood with decreased vision or strabismus. Some cases have systemic associations. These patients require regular follow-up to detect any serious complications such as maculopathy or retinal detachment. Here, we describe a case report 9-year-old girl from Himachal Pradesh who presented with a reduction of vision in the left eye and was diagnosed with a morning glory disk anomaly.
