Modified precursor-driven one-step electrodeposition of BiVO 4 : deposition-time regulated morphology and photoelectrochemical performance
Yu Liu, Shaofeng Chen, Feng Xu, Xin Zeng, Bingjie Han, Lei ShiIn this work, BiVO 4 thin films were electrodeposited on FTO substrates using a novel precursor system containing Bi(NO 3 ) 3 ·5H 2 O, NH 4 VO 3 , Na 2 SO 3 , and CH 3 COONa (pH = 4.7), followed by thermal annealing and KOH etching to obtain phase-pure photoanodes.
