Modelling of the Bolted Joint in Relation to the Working Load of the Bolt

The paper presents a piece of research carried out on the development of modelling and calculation methods for multi-bolted connections. The influence of the modelling of the separated bolted joint on the value of the working load in the bolt was considered. A stiffness analysis of the bolted joint for selected linear and non-linear models was carried out. Guidelines for the selection of the modelling method for the analysis of working loads occurring in a bolted joint are discussed.
