Mn⁴⁺-doped rare-earth-free Mg₄Nb₂O₉ phosphors for optical temperature sensing

A series of Mn⁴⁺-doped rare-earth-free Mg₄Nb₂O₉ phosphors were prepared and their luminescence properties were investigated. Based on the properties, the Mg₄Nb₂O₉:0.004Mn⁴⁺ phosphor was used for decay time-based temperature sensing.
