Mission Planning for Multi-Spacecraft Relay Observation Based on Hungarian Algorithm
Yuanxun Zheng, Hongyu Zhao, Lifeng Hu, Xiaoguang Wang, Qiuya Li, Pengyu WangThis paper proposes a comprehensive mission planning approach for a multi-spacecraft relay observation scenario by establishing a multi-objective hybrid performance model that addresses physical constraints to optimize observation quality, minimize attitude maneuver costs, and balance data storage allocation. First, the Hungarian algorithm is employed to solve the multi-objective hybrid performance model to pre-plan the relay observation mission. Then, spacecraft attitude planning is divided into five distinct stages, namely Earth-pointing, early maneuver, relay observation, observing, and attitude holding. To mitigate potential target loss during handovers, free spacecraft available after the pre-planning phase are used to fill observation gaps when necessary. Finally, simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed relay observation mission planning algorithm in maintaining continuous tracking in the tested scenarios.
