Microwave-assisted combinatorial synthesis of phalloidin derivatives for optimization of structure–activity-relationship (SAR)

A microwave-assisted approach enables the rapid synthesis of a comprehensive library of phalloidin derivatives. Actin polymerization assays reveal several compounds that exhibit an enhanced rate of F-actin polymerization compared to the native toxin.
