Microtubule Organisation Alteration Mediates Delayed Seed Germination in Aged Alfalfa Seeds

Our study reveals that microtubules regulate alfalfa ( Medicago sativa ) seed vigour by modulating reactive oxygen species (ROS) homoeostasis. Candidate microtubule‐associated proteins (MAPs) were identified through transcriptome analysis, among which MsWDL4 was functionally verified to alleviate ageing‐induced germination inhibition.
