Micropolitical Images and the Indigenous Resistance in Brazil
Davina Marques, Alik Wunder, Antonio Carlos Rodrigues de AmorimIn a scenario of rising ultra-right movements in Brazil, we have often asked ourselves about what micropolitical gestures can do within the macro forces around us. As we approach audiovisual productions made by Indigenous filmmakers and artists and/or in processes of alliances between Indigenous and non-Indigenous filmmakers and visual artists, a broad and fertile universe of strategies for micropolitical combating has opened up in our research. These, we argue, produce a molecular philosophical force within the hard lines of dualistic thought that creates lines of flight and unexpected paths between molar lines of macropolitical disputes.
