METRONIDAZOLE INDUCED NEUROTOXICITY: A CASE REPORT

We report a case of metronidazole induced CNS as well as peripheral nervous system toxicity with clinical and radiological ndings which resolved following stoppage of metronidazole. She had history of metronidazole intake for liver abscess.A high index of clinical suspicion,temporal relationship and characterstic MRI and supportive NCV ndings helped to make the diagnosis.
