METHANOL’S TOXIC EFFECT

Knowledge and understanding of the pathogenetic processes makes it possible for the physician to make early diagnosis and begin etiopathogenetic therapy. The authors present their own experience and updated data from the literature related to methanol poisoning and propose recommendations on emergency medical care in case this toxicant is absorbed into the body.
