Metal‐Free Construction of Alkyl Selenocyanates From Cyclic Sulfonium Salts, Selenium Powder, and Trimethylsilyl Cyanide
Zi Yang, Yuluan Jin, Qin Du, Linghao Ran, Wei WeiA facile strategy has been developed for the synthesis of sulfur‐containing alkyl selenocyanates through ring‐opening reaction of cyclic sulfonium salts with Se powder and TMSCN. Under mild and convenient conditions, this protocol enables the introduction of the SeCN group into the sulfur‐containing framework employing selenium powder as the selenium source.
