Meta-, over-, pre-, post- postmodernism: the principle of identity and difference.

The object of this research is the theoretical discourse of understanding the conceptual apparatus of postmodernity and the subsequent methodological innovations (including metamodern). The subject of this study is the conceptual framework of postmodernity. The purpose of this study is to understand the conceptual framework of postmodernity by identifying a possible conceptual sequence based on the principle of "difference" between postmodernity and classical "identity". According to the author, it is possible to define the principle of difference as characteristic and active for the conceptual apparatus of postmodernism. And the mechanism of oscillation from one opposite to another as characteristic for the implementation of the principle of difference of postmodernism. Although, in the elements of the concept and methods of postmodernism, the continuity of previous traditions is clearly traced, that is, the principle of difference logically consistently passes from even earlier concepts. This already serves as the implementation of the principle of identity in the concept of postmodernism. However, the principle of identity in the conceptual apparatus of postmodernism is not an active characteristic, but rather a passive one. According to the author, the basic characteristic of postmodern society is the binary nature of its components, which leads to fluctuations between extremes. The commonality and unity of the principles of difference and identity can be defined as a characteristic of the conceptual apparatus of metamodernity.Therefore, according to the author, the fundamental pattern of postmodern and metamodern society is the binary opposition of components, but with different mechanisms of their interaction. At the same time, the presence of binary oppositional components of the culture industry, which freely interact with each other, is a necessary condition for the "explosion" and heuristic breakthrough to a new level of development of the entire system, as well as for the implementation of the protective function of the culture industry, which protects the value and meaning core of culture from negative and destructive external influences.
