This study examines the fundamental natural frequencies of armchair, zigzag and chiral structure of single-walled carbon nanotubes in relation to its Poisson ratios. The free-free and free-simply supported boundary conditions are applied to the structure. The reported vibrations of these single-walled carbon nanotubes are based on computational method. The rigorous mathematical formulation of the Flügge shell model using Rayleigh-Ritz method is presented. The armchair, zigzag and chiral structure is observed throughout the entire inquiry. The armchair (3, 3), (5, 5), (7, 7) and zigzag (3, 0), (5, 0) and (7, 0) frequency variations versus the ratios of Poisson are sketched. It is claimed that noticeable frequency variation are observed as the Poisson ratios rise. Furthermore, as the Poisson ratios rise, a new frequency pattern is seen. The calculated frequency values of free-simply supported condition are lower than those of free-free. The frequency value increases in tandem with the single-walled carbon nanotube index. Moreover, frequency analysis of chiral (3, 5), (5, 7), and (7, 9) single walled carbon nanotubes is done. Frequency symmetry is seen in the following chiral indices: (3, 5), (5, 7), and (7, 9). The frequencies of chiral (7, 9) are higher than those of chiral (3, 5) and (5, 7). It is determined that the current methodology can be used to apply chiral CNT fabrication on a large scale with varying Poisson ratios. The estimation of continuum modeling and a comparison of these outcomes with MD simulation techniques show researchers and scientists the state-of-the-art in the creation of continuum mechanics models. Transistors and sensors can make use of the current model’s results.
