ABSTRACT

The impact of heat production/consumption and magnetic field on the transport and heat characteristics of a hybrid nanofluid through the stretching sheet is numerically analyzed in this article. The partial differential equations have been transformed using proper transformations governing the phenomenon under study into ordinary differential equations. MATLAB inbuilt code bvp4c using Lobatto IIIA collocation method has been employed for solving the resultant boundary value problem. To study the impacts of various physical parameters on the temperature and velocity profiles, graphs have been plotted. It can be seen from the obtained outcomes that the fluid velocity decreases when magnetic parameters increase due to the opposing Lorentz force, but it increases with an increase in the Deborah number. Additionally, the increase in the thermal radiation and Biot number causes enhanced performance of heat transfer due to the highly enhanced distribution of temperature. The Outcomes of the study justify the use of the hybrid nanofluids to enhance heat transfer in engineering applications. Some of the thermal management technologies like solar thermal collector, heat exchanger, electronic cooling device, thermal energy storage, microchannel heat sink, automobile cooling, chemical processing apparatus, and renewable energy systems, can be designed using the proposed computational model. In short, this study provides a way to enhance the thermal efficiency, performance, and reliability of future heat applications.
