Mapping Sustainable Digital Commerce: A PRISMA-Guided Semantic Network Review Triangulated with an Anchored Search-Interest Landscape (2022–2026)

Sustainability has become central to digital commerce research, yet that literature is rarely confronted with independent evidence of what the public actually attends to. This study pairs two analyses for the Republic of Korea. Analysis 1 is a PRISMA-guided review that screens 700 records against a three-axis Boolean criterion and retains 303 studies published between 2022 and 2026, which are then examined as a keyword co-occurrence network in UCINET. Analysis 2 maps public attention using anchored search-interest data from Naver DataLab and Google Trends, embedding a common reference term in every request so that interest levels become comparable across keyword groups—a correction the search-trend literature has largely neglected. Green products and purchase behaviour dominate the corpus at 29.0%, while platform governance accounts for only 3.6% of studies meeting an eligibility criterion that itself requires perception or behaviour vocabulary, so this figure bounds rather than estimates the governance share of the wider field; manual validation of a stratified sample (Cohen’s κ = 0.59 between coders, rule accuracy 62%) places the governance theme at 2.2% and the greenwashing theme at 1.7% of the corpus, leaving both credibility-related themes together at about 4% against a quarter for green products. Fourteen subdomain keywords co-occur with one another a mean of 1.40 times but with the four most central keywords a mean of 12.6 times; a randomisation model holding keyword frequencies fixed reproduces most of that gap, but subdomain pairs still co-occur less often than chance (p = 0.003) and 35 of 91 pairs never co-occur against 20 expected (p < 0.001). Sustainability-related search interest reaches only 0.7–4.1% of the secondhand-trading anchor term, and once the anchor removes the common denominator, aspirational expressions contract by 39–63% while greenwashing holds its share unchanged. Greenwashing is the only expression without a significant monotonic trend (Mann–Kendall p = 0.49); the differential holds under an alternative anchor, though the absolute magnitude does not. Scholarly attention expands and reorganises while public search attention contracts.
