Management of Bacterial Wilt of Tomato through Bio control Agents in Koderma District of Jharkhand
Bhoopendra Singh, A.K. Rai, Manish Kumar, Vinay KumarA long-term field study was conducted On Farm Trials (OFTs) in tomato crop of two consecution year, during 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 to assess efficacy of management of bacterial wilt of tomato through bio control agents in rabi season. The two treatment (T1 & T2) were compared under the investigation T1 (IIHR Arka Microbial Consortia (AMC) Mix with FYM (1:100) ratio and apply @ 500 g/plant in root zone at 15 DAT and Seed treatment 5 g/kg seed and seedling treatment in 5 g/liter of water solution for 15 minutes before transplanting) and T2 (NRC Litchi tricoderma viride Mix with FYM (1:100) ratio @ 500 g/plant in root zone at 15 DAT and Seed treatment 5 g/kg seed and seedling treatment in 5 g/liter water solution for 15 minutes before transplanting). Results indicated that the T1 of IIHR Arka Microbial Consortia (AMC) gave maximum survival % of tomato (82.32%) with minimum wilting % 75 DAT (6.03 %) followed by T2 (NRC Litchi tricoderma viride Mix with FYM (1:100) ratio @ 500 g/plant in root zone at 15 DAT) maximum survival (78.87%) with minimum wilting (6.89%) and whereas, in T0 (control) fields recorded maximum survival (55.60%) with wilting damage (13.79%). The Treatment T1 produced highest survival and minimum damage through wilting % was as compared to control.
