Liposomal Dutasteride Mesotherapy for Endocrine Therapy-induced Alopecia: A Case Report of Two Patients

Ali Al-Mamoori, Wael Al-Daraji

ABSTRACT

Endocrine therapy-induced alopecia (EIA) is a distressing adverse effect of estrogen-inhibiting therapies used in breast cancer management. We report two patients with EIA treated with liposomal dutasteride mesotherapy, a localized approach targeting dihydrotestosterone when minimizing systemic exposure. Both the patients demonstrated stabilization of hair loss and mild improvement in hair density without adverse effects, allowing uninterrupted continuation of endocrine therapy.
