Linear and circular polarizations in dynamic of localized wave patterns of gyrotropic molecular chains

We investigate in this paper the modulational instability (MI) in gyrotropic molecular chains. The dynamics of the system is modeled by two coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations in gyrotropic media. The results show that MI exists and induces the sidebands or instability regions, not only for linearly polarization but also for circularly polarization. In order to support our theoretical findings, we have performed numerical simulations, which rise out the soliton-like structures of localized wave patterns with the increasing gyrotropic term.
