Leading in the Moment of DEI Resistance

The enactment of the Project 2025 agenda and anti-DEI laws and policies present existential threats to our democracy. Policymakers and leaders who seek to protect our democracy must act strategically and quickly to thwart these threats. While the efforts to fight DEI opponents necessitate multifaceted approaches, this chapter urges policymakers and leaders to change the narrative around DEI and practice civil disobedience to fight the current anti-DEI efforts.
