When significantly impaired, HRQoL can now be managed through different approaches, whether or not pharmacological. The purpose of this review is to report on the factors identified as having a negative impact on HRQoL in sarcoid patients and on the innovative techniques to measure the latter and to manage it.
Recent findings
Several innovative methods have been shown to allow a good quality evaluation of HRQoL in the everyday life and to improve fatigue, one of the major component of a decreased HRQoL in sarcoidosis.
Summary
HRQoL is a major stake inside an optimized, holistic and patient-centered care of sarcoidosis. New online methods are important innovative approaches to this major issue.
