Language Death and Revival after Cultural Destruction: Reflections on a Little Discussed Aspect of Genocide

This contribution is a look at an aspect of cultural genocide which, despite its importance, has generated little to no interest among scholars of genocide. Its overall importance in the destruction of genocidally recipient groups is important to our overall understanding of how groups holding power use a variety of tools at their disposal to destroy other groups having little to no power.
