Kinetic Study on the Reactions of Hydroxyl Radical with 1‐butene, Isobutene, and Trimethylpentene: Temperature and Pressure Dependence
Ryota Fushimi, Tatsuo OguchiABSTRACT
The temperature dependence of the reaction rate coefficients ( k ) for the reactions of hydroxyl radical with three alkenes was measured by using laser‐induced fluorescence techniques in the temperature range of 298–750 K. The negative temperature dependence of k was observed for each reaction in the low‐pressure range. The rate coefficients, however, showed strong pressure dependence in the high‐temperature range, and slightly positive dependence on temperature was obtained as high‐pressure limiting rate coefficients. In addition, the fractions of the rate coefficients of the addition in the overall rate coefficients were also estimated.
