Kinetic Modelling of Vitrimer Resin Processing

Vitrimers present a significant advancement in polymer science, exhibiting thermoplastic-like fluidity merged with the durability of crosslinked thermoset networks. In recent years, considerable efforts have been directed towards developing and implementing kinetic modelling for vitrimers to obtain essential insights into material behaviour and designing processing strategies. This chapter compiles and discusses relevant approaches for the kinetic modelling of vitrimer resins, offering guidance for the application-oriented design and model-driven analysis of processes.
