Jampolsky syndrome: Diagnostic challenges and management strategies

Abstract

Superior rectus (SR) contracture secondary to long-standing unilateral fourth cranial nerve palsy is a rare entity. In this case report, we describe a rare case of SR contracture secondary to long-standing palsy with ptosis and large-angle hypertropia, its detailed clinical, orthoptic evaluation highlighting the diagnostic challenges and management strategies.
