Trichophyton indotineae infection in a 3-year-old boy successfully treated with terbinafine
Anthoula Efstathiadou, David J ChandlerTrichophyton indotineae, an emerging cause of treatment-resistant dermatophytosis in Europe, is frequently resistant to terbinafine. We describe a case of T. indotineae infection in a 3-year-old boy that unusually demonstrated an excellent response to combined oral and topical terbinafine.
