Iron-catalyzed hydroalkylation of quinoxalin-2(1 H )-ones with alkenes and phenylsilane

A facile protocol has been developed for the synthesis of dihydroquinoxalin-2(1 H )-ones via iron-mediated hydroalkylation of quinoxalin-2(1 H )-ones with alkenes and phenylsilane under mild conditions.
