p ‐Nuclear Operators on Spaces of Continuous Functions

ABSTRACT

We study the relationship between ‐nuclear operators on the space of continuous functions and properties of their representing Borel measures. In particular, we show that a weakly compact operator on the space of scalar‐valued continuous functions is ‐nuclear if and only if its representing measure has an appropriate Pettis integrable derivative.
