Introductory presentation for the skills-building workshop

Format
The introductory presentation (10 min) will cover the following points: Brief evidence on inequities in NCDs, their treatment, and behavioural risk factors in Europe. Lessons from the analysis of 17 countries’ strategies and plans on NCDs and risk factors are distilled into simple steps to help address inequalities in national strategies and plans, forming a practical workshop framework. References to existing comprehensive frameworks on inequities that may be useful for different contexts and policy areas.
