Interventional Experiment of Employment Psychological Pressure and Emotional Intelligence Improvement among Impoverished College Students

Yanyan Tao

Abstract

Objective

Impoverished college students face severe employment psychological pressure due to economic constraints and resource disadvantages, which induces negative emotional states and suboptimal mental health, restricting their career development. Conventional psychological guidance lacks targeted intervention for vulnerable student groups. This paper implements targeted emotional intelligence intervention training to mitigate their employment psychological pressure, adjust distorted mental states, and improve their overall mental health level.

Subjects and Methods

This study selects impoverished college students with high employment pressure as experimental samples and sets up experimental and control groups for controlled intervention experiments. Combined with psychological scale testing and paired sample statistical analysis, it longitudinally tracks changes in students’ employment psychological pressure, emotional mental states and mental health indicators before and after systematic intervention.

Results

Targeted emotional intelligence intervention effectively reduces the intensive employment psychological pressure of impoverished college students, alleviates long-term anxious and inferior mental states, enhances their emotional regulation ability, and significantly repairs their sub-health mental health conditions in the employment process.

Conclusions

Emotional intelligence improvement intervention serves as an effective means to regulate impoverished students’ career psychology. Systematic training can sustainably relieve their chronic employment psychological pressure, stabilize positive mental states, optimize individual mental health quality, and provide practical psychological support for impoverished college students’ smooth employment and healthy development.
