Intervention With Autologous Platelet‐Containing Plasma for Immature Atrophic Facial Scars: A Quantitative Case Study

Virgilio Blandón, Sofia González, Hildemar Baltodano

ABSTRACT

Intradermal autologous platelet‐containing plasma (ACP) was applied to immature atrophic scars during early remodeling. Results showed improvements in depth, surface area, and texture over time. Although effects may overlap with natural healing, ACP appears safe, minimally invasive, and deserving of further controlled studies to clarify its role in dermal remodeling.
