Interspecific amplexus is a form of reproductive interference, where a male anuran erroneously enters amplexus with an individual of another species. This behaviour has been widely documented for anurans worldwide and has various repercussions, including the energetic costs of misplaced efforts and hybridisation. In this paper, we report two observations of interspecific amplexus between a male Booroolong Frog Litoria booroolongensis and females of the Broad-palmed Rocket Frog Litoria latopalmata and Peron's Tree Frog Litoria peronii.
