Interregional differences in the total incidence of mental diseases in officers of internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation

The paper presents interregional differences in the total incidence of mental diseases among the officers of internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation based on the departmental medical statistic data for 2020- 2025. A pronounced regional heterogeneity of the figures has been observed. The results obtained prove high interregional variability ofthe psychiatric morbidity among the personnel and substantiate a necessity of a regionally oriented approach to the improvement of the system f psychiatric and medico-psychological care within the Ministry of the Interior of Russia.
