ABSTRACT

In advanced electromagnetic protection and stealth fields, the rational design of microwave‐absorbing materials is crucial for the precise development of high‐performance devices. Despite the great potential of MXene‐based materials in electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption, their practical application is hindered by the lack of systematic strategies for interface synergy and ordered structural regulation, which leads to the unavoidable trade‐off between ultra‐thinness, broadband absorption, and mechanical robustness. Herein, a synergistic interface and ordered porous structure regulation strategy is proposed to fabricate MXene‐based multifunctional aerogels. Benefiting from the different mechanisms and synergistic effects of dielectric loss and magnetic loss, the designed ordered layered porous structure delivers an ultra‐wide effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 7.38 GHz (full Ku‐band coverage), with a minimum reflection loss (RL m i n ) of –79.07 dB at 1.95 mm. It achieves RL min values below −74 dB in the C, X, and Ku bands under optimized matching thicknesses. Furthermore, the aerogel integrates ultra‐lightweight features, ultra‐high load‐bearing capacity, and efficient thermal insulation; the simulated RCS of the coated metal plate is reduced by up to 41.25 dBm 2 , achieving integrated “wave absorption‐mechanical‐thermal protection” functionality. This research provides a novel methodology for the structural design and dielectric‐magnetic loss regulation of EWA materials.
