These systems are historically susceptible to inefficiencies, failures and human error as seen in recent years. The growing consensus among our elected leaders to put our country on a path to energy
independence demands a more intelligent power distribution grid in addition to traditional green initiatives. A smart power distribution grid will allow consumers to better utilize small scale generation techniques and will help provide
a more economically viable solution.
