Integration of data center monitoring systems into business process management of oil and gas companies

Matvey Zemlyanyh

This article discusses the important task of improving the efficiency of business process management in the oil and gas industry through the use of modern technologies. Particular attention is paid to the integration of monitoring systems for data centers, virtual machines, and network equipment. The relevance of the topic is explained by the growing need to ensure high availability and fault tolerance of critical IT infrastructure, which is becoming especially important against the background of the intensive digital transformation of the industry, increasing data volumes and increasing requirements for the smooth operation of production processes. The study proposes a conceptual model consisting of four levels of integration, which helps to combine various components of IT systems and business operations. The concept of interrelated infrastructure and business indicators was proposed to better assess the state and effectiveness of processes. To test the proposed ideas, simulation modeling was carried out, which allowed us to see how such approaches affect the operation of systems. The results show that the implementation of the described model can seriously reduce the risks of downtime, as well as improve the speed and quality of management decisions. This approach can become a significant tool for companies in the oil and gas sector seeking to adapt more effectively to modern challenges and market requirements, minimizing possible disruptions and improving the overall stability of IT structures.
