Integration of ancient Ayurveda intelligence – Tantrayukti with Artificial Intelligence

Yogesh Shamrao Deole

ABSTRACT:

Ayurveda has its own knowledge database in the form of Samhita , written in Sanskrit language. This age-old knowledge represents ancient intelligence and is currently undergoing a transition into electronic and digital media formats. The translation and publication of knowledge is necessary for the propagation of Ayurveda on a global platform. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a rapidly emerging field helping society to save time invested in searching databases and deriving insights. Application of AI in the Ayurveda fraternity is still in its developmental stage. Accurately deriving meanings encoded in ancient intelligence remains a challenge for AI due to the limited availability of authentic classical knowledge repositories that serve as its foundational data pool. The application of Tantrayukti (TY) – methodological devices for coding knowledge within ancient intellectual traditions – serves as a key approach to addressing the challenges of bridging this gap. This article aims to integrate TY with contemporary computational tools and programs. The systematic categorization of TY for content organization, structural design, precise editing, and documentation using advanced technologies may serve as a viable approach to bridging the gap between ancient and artificial intelligence. Relevant computer languages, programs, and applications corresponding to each TY are presented in this article.
