Vladimir Astaschenko, Farit Miftahov, Viktor Kablukov, Talgat Ishakov, Chulpan GimazetdinovaThe study objective is to find the reasons for the decrease in the operational durability of parts of Russian-made combined clamps. The problem that the paper is dedicated is to identify the content of measures ensuring high operational durability of Russian-made combined clamps used for import substitution. Research methods: visual and measuring control, fractography analysis, spectral analysis, metallographic analysis. The novelty of the work: performing a comparative analysis of combined clamps of foreign and domestic production based on the complex application of various research methods: coordinate measurements of geometric parameters, fractography analysis of fracture surface, spectral analysis of chemical composition and metallographic analysis in the import substitution of agricultural machinery parts. Research results: the reasons for the decrease in the operational durability of Russian-made parts are identified, and measures to ensure high operational durability are formulated. Conclusions: the reasons for the decrease in the operational durability of Russian-made parts due to casting defects in the surface of the base hole and the high hardness of the part material (VCH80 cast iron). To increase the operational resistance of Russian-made parts, it is recommended to drill the hole and reduce the hardness of the material by 40-50 HB.
