The article is devoted to the study of mechanisms for regulating the proportions of intersectoral exchange in the agroindustrial complex, taking into account modern challenges and the transformation of the industry. The paper examines the peculiarities of the functioning of the agro-industrial complex of the Krasnodar Territory with an emphasis on the regulation of the proportions of intersectoral exchange. The main forms of interaction between participants in production and logistics chains, including the stages of production, processing, marketing, transportation and the introduction of innovative solutions, are considered. Special attention is paid to the causes of the disparity in cross–industry proportions, not only in terms of price, but also in terms of resources, production, and logistics. Modern instruments of state regulation are analyzed: systematic price monitoring, interventions, fiscal incentives, infrastructural support and clustering. Based on the conducted research, a system of measures has been proposed to harmonize cross-industry exchange: expanding the range of interventions, improving tax and credit mechanisms, developing logistics platforms, new generation clusters, and introducing digital solutions. The implementation of these approaches will increase the efficiency, sustainability and investment attractiveness of the agro-industrial complex in the region. The results of the study can be used in shaping regional agricultural policy.
