AbstractQR codes, or Quick Response codes, are two-dimensional barcodes designed for quick scanning and decoding by smart phones. Originally developed for inventory management, their use has expanded significantly across various sectors, including education. In academic libraries, QR codes serve as an efficient tool to bridge the gap between physical and digital resources, providing users with immediate access to e-books, e-journals, library websites, and other digital materials. The S. R. Ranganathan Central Library of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra has integrated QR codes to enhance user experience and facilitate seamless access to its resources. QR codes in the library offer users quick access to e-books, e-journals, and digital libraries of other institutions, making academic materials more accessible. This paper examines the implementation of QR codes at the S. R. Ranganathan Central Library and concludes that QR codes significantly improve accessibility and engagement with digital resources. The study recommends increasing awareness among users and staff, expanding QR code applications, and ensuring their regular maintenance to optimize the library's services.
