Impact of Education Satisfaction Using Hose Connections by On-Site Commanders on Transfer Intention in Firefighting Training

Joo-Wan Seo

This study aimed to analyze the factors influencing transfer intention and the mediating effects of education satisfaction in the training of fire scene commanders using fire facility hose connections and to propose improvements for the training program. The most significant factor affecting transfer intention was satisfaction with the training content, followed by instructor professionalism, teaching methods, and satisfaction with the training environment. Additionally, the change in educational perception before and after training using fire facility hose connections demonstrated a mediating effect between educational satisfaction and transfer intention. Therefore, to enhance education satisfaction, practical insights into how to design instructional learning structures from the perspectives of trainees were provided.
