Ileoileal knotting is a rare cause of acute abdomen in children, with few documented cases in the literature. We report a case of a 13-year-old boy who presented with an acute abdomen due to ileoileal knotting and was successfully treated with laparotomy, resection and anastomosis. This case highlights the importance of prompt surgical intervention in managing this rare but potentially life-threatening condition.
