Hypersensitivity reactions to chemotherapeutic agents have an average incidence of approximately 5%. Hypersensitivity to intravenous etoposide is a rare adverse event. The only escape of Etooside phosphate is not available in low- and middle-income countries. We report here a case of hypersensitivity to etoposide, and early success of a tailored treatment strategy with carboplatin-ifosfamide for this child of NGGCT
