ICOLD 2024, New Delhi, India: update on technical committee H (dam safety)

This briefing note summarises the background and progress of ICOLD (International Commission on Large Dams) Technical Committee H, whose current terms of reference include producing new guidance on risk assessment in dam safety management, guidance on dam safety regulatory frameworks and collecting and disseminating information on dam failures. It summarises progress of the technical bulletins currently being drafted and the activities of the technical committee during the annual meeting.
