Bembidion ( Ocydromus s. l.) violetae sp. n. from China (Gansu, Qinghai), with notes on the baehri

Bembidion ( Ocydromus s. l.) violetae sp. n., belonging to the baehri Toledano, 2000, species group, was found among specimens from China, including amongst some (formerly determined) paratypes of B . echarouxi Toledano, 2000. The new species is described and compared with the other species in the group. A problem in the characterisation of B . baehri in the original description is explained and corrected. The occurrence of B . echarouxi in Sichuan, mentioned in the description but not reported in Marggi, Toledano & Neri 2017, is reported here. The mention of B . echarouxi for Qinghai (China) in Marggi, Toledano & Neri 2017, also mentioned in the original description, actually refers to specimens of B . violetae sp. n. The systematic position of the species in the baehri group is briefly discussed and the species are here again attributed to the subgenus Ocydromus Clairville, 1806, sensu Toledano (2000). A key for the baehri species group is provided. Viene individuato e descritto Bembidion ( Ocydromus s. l.) violetae sp. n., appartenente al gruppo baehri Toledano, 2000, trovato tra esemplari provenienti dalla Cina, compresi alcuni (precedentemente determinati) paratipi di B . echarouxi Toledano, 2000. La nuova specie viene descritta e comparata con le altre specie del gruppo. Viene spiegato e corretto un problema dell’iconografia relativa a B . baehri apparsa nella descrizione originale. Viene segnalata la presenza di B . echarouxi in Sichuan, citata nella descrizione ma non inserita in Marggi, Toledano & Neri, 2017. La sua citazione per il Qinghai in Marggi, Toledano & Neri 2017, sempre segnalata nella descrizione originale, si riferisce ad esemplari appartenenti a violetae sp.n. La posizione sistematica delle specie del gruppo baehri viene qui discussa brevemente e le specie sono nuovamente attribuite al sottogenere Ocydromus Clairville, 1806 inteso sensu Toledano (2000).Viene fornita una chiave per le specie appartenenti al gruppo baehri .
