Ab initio investigation of layered TMGeTe3 alloys for phase-change applications
Yihui Jiang, Suyang Sun, Hanyi Zhang, Xiaozhe Wang, Yibo Lei, Riccardo Mazzarello, Wei ZhangWe substituted Cr in CrGeTe3 with other 3d transition metals and identified two promising candidates, ScGeTe3 and ZnGeTe3, with electronic contrast between amorphous and crystalline states as PCM and MnGeTe3 for magnetic switching.
