Growth of large-area graphene – graphdiyne heterostructures

BabuA scalable ambient route for synthesizing crystalline graphene – graphdiyne heterostructures is demonstrated. Graphene confines GDY growth to two dimensions, and GDY quality strongly depends on the underlying graphene, supporting van der Waals epitaxy.
