We identify GmHSF38 as an upstream transcriptional regulator of GmTIFY25 and show that the GmHSF38‐GmTIFY25 module promotes soybean susceptibility to Phytophthora sojae , providing a potential genetic target for improving soybean resistance to this important pathogen.
