Abstract

A giant coronary artery aneurysm directly connected to aortic arch is a rare and interesting cardiac pathology. When the patients with coronary aneurysms and fistulas are not carefully investigated with advanced imaging techniques, this may cause intraoperatively sudden problems for surgeons and this deficiency may increase patients’ morbidity. In this case report we wanted to present surgical treatment and pre- and intraoperative surgical approach to a patient with an interesting direct connection between giant LAD aneurysm and aortic arch via a separate vessel, which was diagnosed thanks to computed tomography, presenting with acute myocardial infarction.
